Father’s Day Crafting
Now I love crafting, so when holidays come around, it’s the perfect excuse to whip out my supplies and begin creating! Father’s Day is just around the corner, June 20th to be exact, so it’s time to start thinking what to get that special dad! Here’s a list of some of my favorite Father’s Day crafts!
The Duct Tape Wallet – I’ve always said that duct tape can be used for anything. These are seriously cute. I’ve even seen cool duct tape wallets for sale in stores.
Can of Cookies – If dad loves cookies, here’s a great idea for you. Bake his favorite cookies, eat a can of Pringles, wash out the can, decorate the outside, and you have a great home made gift!

Pad for Dad – Does dad like to write? My husband loves journals to record his thoughts, songs, and more. This is a great gift for the writer dad in your family.
Apron – Does dad like to BBQ on the grill? An apron decorated by his little munchkins might be the perfect gift!
T-shirt – Is dad a T-shirt guy? One of my favorite sites for t-shirts is Zazzle. You can upload your own design and choose from an assortment of sizes, colors, and styles. My husband got this cool T-shirt for Christmas last year from our son, a one of a kind! You can also design hats, mugs, aprons, and ties over at Zazzle.
Decorated Frame – Because I’m a lover of photos, I love getting frames for my kids to decorate and then putting a picture of them inside it.
Photo books – My husband is a song writer, so one year I made a photo book online using the words to his song as the text and scattered pictures of the kids throughout.
One of my favorite sites for creating photo gifts is Snapfish. They have such a great selection from mugs to aprons, calendars, t-shirts, photo books, mouse pads, playing cards, and more! Receive 20% off your Father’s Day order with coupon code DADSDAY2010, good through June 19th.
If all of the above is just too overwhelming and Dad really wants that special item in the store, at least pair it with a home made Father’s Day card made by the kids. You can never go wrong there!
