Hear ye, Hear ye! Scarborough Renaissance Festival is in town!

If you have a child who is crazy about knights right now, than this is your chance to blow them away. While Dallas is lucky enough to have a Medieval Times location available all year, it is also the time of year for Scarborough Renaissance Festival! It is conveniently open every weekend until May 30, and open Memorial Day Monday as well. Best of all, they offer discounted child tickets and kids younger than 4 are free! There is also a discount on your ticket if you buy it online and print it at home. Every little bit helps!

If you couldn’t tell, I know something about this. My oldest son is into Knights right now in a BIG way. For his 7th birthday, he requested Medieval Times, even though it meant he wouldn’t be able to have a big party with his friends. It was a great experience that my entire family enjoyed, although too pricey for our family of 5 to do often. I got him the Great Castle Search book (this is a great series for school-age kids!) for his birthday and he also received the a set of Magic Treehouse books–the second one is The Knight at Dawn. This is definitely the year for us to explore Scarborough with the kids for the first time!

Nick got to meet our knight, the Champion, after the show!
