As parents, though, we need to remember that even though TAKS may be gone before our kids get there, it will be replaced by something else (STARR is the new test coming up right now). Plus, if you have school age kids, their schedule is disrupted even if they aren&#039;t testing. My 1st grader had to go to library on Monday and spent today at the park across the street from his school. Both of these were to make room for testing!]]></description>
