$5. I was not disappointed. I was thrilled to find out that host, Mike Rowe of Dirty Jobs, had visited the ranch previously (which was featured on their show).
By far, our money and time were well spent. It was small enough so as not to overwhelm our “to do” lists, yet big enough to have fun with the kids. We rode along a safari tram where we were introduced to my new favorite animal, the zedonk (1/2 zebra and ½ donkey), and got up close and personal with camels, clydesdales, and kangaroos. In fact, after the safari tram, the family and I took a family picture with a joey (baby kangaroo!). We then were part of a captive audience on their education programs on the: kangaroo, sloth and lemur. It was such a memorable trip and I doubt we’ll ever get that close to these lovely creatures again.
Be sure to take the kiddos to the restroom prior to the ranch as they only offer portapotties and slather on the sunscreen and bug spray.
