Staycation Destination :: Local DFW Splash Parks

This is part of a series I am doing this summer on Staycation adventures.  With gas prices high, I imagine many families will be looking for local outings where they can spend their money having fun and not on the gas it takes to get there.  Lots of fun adventures are right on our Dallas doorstep!

I love taking my kids to local splash parks in the summer months.  A little running on the playground, a splash in the water, and a picnic lunch seem to be just the right dose of happy.  Perhaps, best of all, they’re FREE!  Check out some of the splash parks across DFW…
