Back To School Crafting

Wow!  It’s that time of year when schools are (or perhaps yours already has) opening their doors for yet another school year.  I find there are always mixed emotions about this.  Some parents are ecstatic, some are sad.  Some kids are happy, some are not.  Despite the feelings, the fact is that kids have to return, so why not let our tone be one of excitement, looking forward to a year of new friends, learning, and happy memories?  A few crafts on the final summer days agenda just might be the solution to change dread to excitement!  From picking out material for a new lunchbox to planning a back to school dinner, these crafts will get kids in the mood to step through those doors for another year of school!

    Great post, Jen! Unfortunately, my son has finally reached the age of not enjoying going back to school this year. I’m afraid crafts I’d have him do would NOT do the trick either. But I do like the back to school dinner idea…it just *might* work. I just wish the link gave a little more details and ideas for what the dinner could entail.

    I may just have to try the nails on myself since I don’t have a girl to play with : )
