Chuck E. Cheese : Where A Kid Can Be A Kid

One of my kid’s favorite places to go is Chuck E. Cheese, so when we announced we were taking them this weekend, they were ecstatic.  Want to have a dose of fun and laughs?  Here’s the perfect recipe for your Chuck E. Cheese adventure.

  • Find some adult friends who have kids and invite them along.  Your kids can scamper along, and you can have adult conversation while the kids are entertained.

  • Enjoy the pizza and salad bar.  If you want to go the healthier route, order a salad from their great, fresh salad bar.  I definitely think Chuck E. Cheese has improved their pizza, because it tasted even better than I remember!

  • When your child asks you to come “help” them play Skee Ball, excuse yourself nonchalantly while inside you jump with glee, because Skee Ball is actually your favorite game to play.  (Shh…don’t tell the kids because you go there for them…)

  • Stop the adult conversation long enough to watch the kids.  Their laughs just might be contagious.

We had a GREAT time at Chuck E. Cheese this weekend.  It truly is a place where a kid (and an adult) can be a kid!  Did you know that Chuck E. Cheese rewards kids for good behavior and good grades?  Kids can be awarded up to 15 tokens when they bring in their most recent report card.  Print off the reward calendars from the Chuck E. Cheese site and once they’re filled up, bring them in and your child will receive 10 tokens!  Also, for a limited time, you can receive an extra 100 tokens when you reserve a birthday party for Friday or Sunday.

At the end of hours of fun, there’s nothing better than turning in your ticket earnings for a fun prize…or saving them for an even bigger one.

Disclosure : I received a Guest Pass good for a large pizza, 4 drinks, and 30 tokens from Chuck E. Cheese in exchange for my honest review.  All opinions are my own.

Chuck e Cheese provides for a great family outing where kids can enjoy games and rides, parties and entertainment with animated characters such as Chuck e Cheese itself. All this while the family enjoys a great selection of food including meat, BBQ and Veggie pizzas with combos and soft drinks. Have a birthday coming up? Just contact Chuckie Cheese to organize a party event for your child and they will do all the work, relieving you off the work! Typically, birthday parties last 2 hours and provide for some great gifts and food that all attending children will enjoy. Cakes served include chocolate creamcakes and vanilla buttercream. Other cool food items served would include buffalo wings in 20 or 40 pieces, veggie/sandwich platters and more. I need to try a different CEC or go during the week. A friend had a 3yo birthday party there at 5pm on a Saturday. It was insanity and I’m pretty sure the parents at the next table were high. Despite my private reservations, my kids were in love with the entire place.

I LOVE CEC, so it’s snap taking the kiddos. I agree on the pizza – tastes so much better than when I remembered.
