Hello Dallas Mamas! I'm so proud to be writing for Today's Mama and hope my blogs are helpful and fun. After reading a few of my blogs, you'll learn a little about me and my family. We love spending our time together and finding cool local events. Born and raised in California, I'm a little celebrity obsessed :-). However, I'm also an avid reader and enjoy art and music. I am a firm believer of seizing every moment, working hard, and becoming the best.

Words With Friends - scored 75 points with one word

I admit it! I’m addicted to Words With Friends, an iPhone  and Android game application. Any down time I have, you’ll find me strategizing my next move. Words With Friends is just like playing Scrabble…BUT better! It calculates the points for you and your opponent and acts as judge (determining which words are usable).

Initially, I was incensed my hubby kept beating me with “made up” words (truth be told, they were real words; just words I’d never heard of). That was until I caught on and started using those same words and started utilizing those double letters (DL), triple letters (TL), double word (DW) and triple word (TW) combinations which helped maximize points.

Want to play and don’t have an iPhone or Android device? Sign up for a Facebook account and log on using your computer. Currently, I have 13 ongoing games (some of which include childhood friends who live a state away).

Each time I hear the game chime (indicating it’s my move), I can’t help but smile. I’m always up for friendly competition!

A friend of mine is really addicted to Words with Friends too. He jokingly called it Words with Nerds and now whenever this game is mentioned I always think of that. 🙂
