Plano’s Chocolate Angel
With the temperature rising, it’s hard to resist a lunch outing at Plano’s Chocolate Angel (cute name, right?). Growing up with two sisters and with books/ movies based on Anne of Green Gables, this is my ultimate (yet very affordable) tea room. As the name implies, Chocolate Angel is femininely decorated and a great venue for get togethers with your girlfriends.
On the day I visited, I went with a handful of coworkers while donning our hats (truth be told, I brought extra hats so they were compelled to wear them). We were seated and served immediately. As we ate, I couldn’t get over how darn cute the restaurant was. It was complete with painted walls, teacups, pearls and lace. I promised myself I’d come back with my two little munchkins.
Chocolate Angel serves hot and cold sandwiches, salads and yummy desserts. I highly recommend the strawberry pretzel. In addition, they cater and welcome reservations for their afternoon tea at 3:30 pm.
Bon Apetit!
