Hello, fellow Mamas! I am a high school teacher as well as the mom of a 8-year-old and twin 4-year-olds. I am also active in the North Dallas Mothers of Twins Club and taking graduate hours through an online university. With three very active kids, we try to keep them pretty busy and get out of the house whenever possible. My husband and I are both transplants from Louisiana (Geaux Tigers!) and we are having a lot of fun discovering new places and exploring the DFW area through the eyes of our children. I'm excited to share our experiences with everyone!

A Treasure hiding in Dallas!

If you love to cook, then you will love finding a hidden treasure in Dallas: Penzey’s Spices! This shop has over 250 high quality spices and spice mixes for you to smell and select. They have a catalog as well, which is also available online! My favorite is the Greek Seasoning, but thereat is something for everyone’s tastes and needs. I have been using this company for years without knowing that there was a store in our area! Shopping online does not compare to smelling the spices yourself. And moms, it has a little kids area for them to draw while you make your selections! You really have to stop by to understand the difference between what you get at Penzey’s Spices and grocery store spices!
