Thank You Pinterest
I think Pinterest is a great addition to the lives of men and women everywhere. Before Pinterest, I was okay as far as crafty goes, and my baking/cooking skills were a little lacking. Now with Pinterest, I am a hit with all the teachers with my treats, and my craftiness is pouring through my house… literally.
My latest craft endeavour was a wreath for my front door. I went to Michael’s, my crafty home away from home, to price them out and to see if I could just buy a cheap one and be happy with it. The cheapest one that I could find was $25.00. This pitiful wreath was small and not very cute. At that point, after remembering a tutorial, or 15, I saw on Pinterest, I decided to make my own. I ran across the street to Walmart (the floral was a little cheaper), and bought 1 flower, some styrofoam berries, and a pre-made twig wreath thing. Less than $13.00 for it all. Yeah me!
When I got home, I got out my handy dandy glue gun and 10 minutes later…. Ta Da! Take that, Micheal’s!,
