Labor of Love Soldiers Benefit

The fourth annual Labor of Love event benefiting active duty military service members and their families and local Veterans of Foreign Wars initiatives, will be held Sunday, September 2, 2012.

This event is a yearly fundraiser to help support sodier’s families that may become in need, whether it’s while the active military personnel are overseas or after their return.

There will food, shopping, a BBQ contest, and $1 beer and wine sales. Music will be provided by DJ Zoe Lyons and local guitar talent from the area from 1 – 4:00 pm. At 7:30 pm a live band will play inside the post.

Transportation is available via golf cart to and from the parking areas. General admission is $5 per person. Each person will be given a wristband upon entering the event. Admission is FREE to active duty military personnel with their ID card.

For early birds, a garage sale will kick off the event with breakfast burritos being sold at 8:00 am inside the post.

This event is a family oriented event with fun to be had by all ages! A bounce house will also be on-site for your kids to bounce the day away!
