If you love getting outdoors in Texas during the fall, love doing things with your kids, love wine and love free admission, then get ready to toast to the 26th annual GRAPEFEST, Sept. 13-16. (How can you pass that up, right?)
Four days of family-friendly festival fun, it’s a great way to entertain the kids and mom can even enjoy a little adult beverage, too! The best part is the free admission all day Thursday and Friday, 10 AM – 5 PM, so there is no reason why you wouldn’t make this an opportunity to enjoy some outdoor time with your kids or sneak away for a little girl time over lunch. Personally, you’ll be able to find me at the Champagne Terrace and perhaps after a glass, over at the Grapestomp with my friend Amanda, doing my best to imitate one of the funniest “I Love Lucy” shows ever.
Fun features for the kids include:
- Carnival rides
- KidZone presented by Baylor Regional Medical Center of Grapevine
- Live Entertainment
- Great Food
- Arts & Crafts
Things Mom Shouldn’t Miss:
- GrapeStomp – The event’s namesake, get in the barrel barefoot and make some juice, Lucy-style!*
- People’s Choice Wine Tasting Classic – Located at the Cotton Belt Depot District, enjoy a 1.5 hour wine tasting featuring 130 Texas wines and you get a wine glass to boot for only $20.*
- Champagne Terrace – Enjoy sparkling wines and champagne from some of the top growing regions in the world. Located in Liberty Park Plaza, enjoy sparkling wines and champagne.*
*Some of these events are additional cost and/or require reservations, so make sure to make yours now for this juicy event!
