Jack’s favorite holiday movie is The Polar Express. He is obsessed with it, and would watch it every day of the year if I let him. One of his favorite treats is an evening viewing of The Polar Express while sipping hot chocolate.
This year, we’re going to surprise him with something much more exciting than The Polar Express movie on demand. We are going to take him to Grapevine to ride The North Pole Express, an experience I’m sure he’ll treasure for years to come (and talk about every.single.day for the next six months, at least)!
Leaving out of Grapevine Depot, the North Pole Express takes families on a ride to the “North Pole” and back, including a visit with Santa.
All passengers receive a complimentary gift and a free Hot Chocolate while on board. Before and after the train ride, passengers are encouraged to enjoy the Christmas decorations and ornament-making factory (the venue is open an hour before the first train leaves and doesn’t close until an hour after the last train returns).
Tickets are $18 for everyone 2 and older (babies under 2 are free and can ride on a parent’s lap). Book your tickets now – I tried buying tickets last year as it got closer to Christmas and they were sold out!
You can find the schedule, learn where to park, and book your tickets here.
