My Favorite Puppy Chow Treats
For the past few years, I have made a sweet treat for parties and family gathering around Christmas time. I didn’t have a name for it, nor did the recipe really call it anything. Somehow the “puppy chow” name was branded to it. I don’t like that name, but it is what it is. I don’t have a name for it, so whatevs!
This is another favorite from the Food Network Magazine. If you don’t have a subscription, you should!
This is all you do. Simple as simple can be:
Microwave 1 cup Nutella with 1/2 stick butter in a large bowl until melted. Stir in 8 cups Chex cereal.Put the mix in a large resealable plastic bag; add a 1-pound box powdered sugar and shake until coated. Add 1/4 cup colored sprinkles and 1/2 cup yogurt-covered raisins and red and green M&M’s; toss to combine.
Can’t get any easier than that. And the compliments will blow you away! Happy chowing!
