Keller and Hurst may be two separate cities, but on Jan. 19 these two North Texas suburbs show why the region is known for family with two separate morning events not to miss – Fishing for Fun in Keller and the Train Parade in Hurst.
There’s nothing more fun than watching a kid fish, especially for their first time, so we’re rounding up our fishing poles and getting ready for Fishing for Fun in Keller! You provide the gear; they provide the corn bait for the trout. Fisherman may not be able to catch a fish, but they’ll be able to win door prizes and drawings. Just remember to get your license and remember the limit is 5 per day!

All aboard for everything TRAIN on Jan. 19 in Hurst with the Train Car Parade. First, come out on Jan. 15 and build your train car from 5-8 pm and then come back on Jan. 19 to show off your creation, then party down with all the other conductors for a special train party. If you aren’t able to create your own car, you can still come out and celebrate all things train! (I’m sure we’ll be there in all our Thomas gear!)
