Klyde Warren Park
My family overnighted in one of Dallas’ downtown hotels as part of our staycation this holiday break. Without missing a beat, we visited the new Klyde Warren Park (minutes away from the hotel).
We loved the clean look; however, weren’t too thrilled with its lack of parking. Nevertheless, our four year old ran to the playscape; whereas; my nine year old and I walked towards the trees fitted with yarn to get a closer look.
It’s modern, fun (had food trucks lined up waiting to serve the public), colorful (lots of colorful seating and artwork), had an artistic edge and is situated in the heart of downtown Dallas.
After viewing the website, I learned that the park offers many activities. Among these are: Stroller Boot Camp, dining, music, dog park, putting green, etc. There’s something for everyone and if we didn’t live so far away from the park, I know we’d be frequent visitors.
