Children’s Activities at Heritage Farmstead Museum
We’ve had some unbelievable weather (in a good way) these pasts few months in North Texas. Sure, we’ve had some snow and a few cold days – but for the most part, it’s been “let’s get outside!” kind of weather.
I’m hoping the weather will keep up, because there are a couple of events at the Heritage Farmstead Museum I am hoping to take the kids to over the next two months.
On February 22nd, join Heritage Farmstead Museum for their “G is for Goat!” Fun on the Farm event. Kids will learn about the letter “G,” meet the farm’s resident goats (Jack and Eli) and enjoy a tractor ride around the farm.
On March 1, you and the kids can experience “Read Around the Farm,” where you’ll get to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s books, enjoy face painting, and experience more fun around the farm!
You must register for these events in advance, and can do so here. Tickets are $10 per adult/child combo (additional adults are $3 each, and additional children are $5/each).
The kids and I attended an event at Heritage Farmstead Museum back in August, and it was great fun (Jack’s favorite part was, by far, the tractor ride around the farm). The staff was friendly and the event was well-organized and had lots to do…we can’t wait to make it out there for the next one!
