A Cool Map Giveaway
Maps. Have I mentioned how much I love them? Yes, I believe I must have at some point. Not only are maps educational, but there’s so much creativity to be had with them. The colors and styles are so vast, and the fact that they can be amazing art pieces is awesome!

I am currently a home schooling Mama, so maps are invaluable to me. I’m also an American Mama living in S. Africa, so U.S.A. maps are even more invaluable. I love my kids being able to see where they come from and where their relatives live. It keeps our heritage alive.
I recently received a USA New Century laminated map from Maps.Com. We.all.love.it. Seriously. My kids have unrolled it numerous times and laid it on the floor to see where different cities are. The other day they were huddled around with their friends talking about places they’ve been and lived. Excitement and education all wrapped into one. Awesomeness.

I really love the rich colors in this map. It almost makes it look older (which I like), and that earthy tone is fabulous. I also love the detail. We were all quite surprised to find some Texas towns on there that we didn’t realize were big enough to make it onto a map!
Giveaway
How would you like to win your very own USA New Century map? Maps.Com has graciously offered one Today’s Mama reader the chance to win a 55×38 laminated USA New Century Map! (Check out more specs on the map here.) Giveaway is open to U.S. addresses only and ends Monday, April 1st at 1 pm CST when random number generator will choose one winner!

This would be awesome to hang up on our big wall in the hallway
I’ve always wanted to get a big map to put up in our house. Then the kids can mark all the places that we go on vacation…
I love maps, and hope my kids will like to travel as much as their parents do!
I’m a homeschooling mom as well and I LOVE when we have maps that the kiddo can truly interact with and step “into.” We currently have a huge puzzle map and a globe but I was just thinking how wonderful it would be to have a new large map of the states! Thanks for this opportunity!!
I collect interesting maps & globes. I recently found an old school pull down from an antique shop. I love how they remind me of my past travels and inspire me to see more of the world.
We use a map with my 4 year old daily. We put a sticker on all the places daddy travels to. (he is a truck driver)
I love to see where places are in the world, I love that they double as an art piece. I love the bright colors. I want one!!

I love both globes and maps. I is such a great tool to teach my kids that there is so much to explore.
I, too, love maps! We have them on 7 walls in our home that I can count!
This is a beautiful map – I’d love it for our homeschooling family! Thank you!
We would love to win one of these for our little girl! We no longer live near family, so it would be great to show her where everyone is around the country.
Would love to replace my beat-up worn out map with this one!
My boys love maps, especially my 7 year old. We would really enjoy finding different places on this map including the home cities of various family members and the location of various landmarks, states, cities, national parks, etc.
We have a bathroom shower map and we love exploring the world in the tub!
Not only are they educational but they make great art! We love them in our house!

I want to show my daughters that there is so much more out there
To look at all the places I’ve been!
I love thinking about the people all the different places we see on maps. THanks for the chance!
I love maps, too, and would love to put one up in our family/toy room for the kids to see all the time. I love how we look at maps and dream about traveling to new places.

As a Special Ed teacher I see how exciting maps can be. Kids hear about places all the time, but maps help give them context.
I love maps!! I love how so many of them are different and can be used for so many things. Right now my four year old loves to point out the cities and towns we have been to in our state!!
As the child of a cartographer, I was raised reading and creating maps. I love how maps can link places together, provide endless possibilities and make this world seem somehow smaller and more accessible!
Looking at places we want to visit!
This map is awesome!! I have 10 grandchildren and I have a room just for them. I have hundreds of books and projects for them in there. This map would be a great addition !!
We love finding new places!
i used to have a laminated map when I was in college and I loved playing trivia games with it. Plus, with such a diverse community, I love looking up where so many people are from. My 4 year olds have already learned so much about our planet!
Maps provide the “visual” tool to showing the relationship. How far from me type questions with the kids helps them seeing past their piece of the world.
My son has been asking for one….I would love to surprise him!
If I don’t win…where can I buy one?
I do love maps! I see them like artwork. I love the colors and lines.
My dad raised me loving maps of all sorts! His favorite comment to us even today is, “Those places really exist!” Now, as I raise my own children, I love watching how maps help them think beyond themselves.
So fun and educational at the same time. I love that!
I love to look at a map and dream of places I want to go.

I love maps! It’s cool to see the shapes of our world, and to day dream…
My children LOVE maps! My oldest impartiality loves reading about other places and hunting up then on maps then drawing his own.
I’ve always loved maps. I have a road atlas that marks every road trip we have taken as a family. It’s almost 20 years old and I still prefer it over a GPS. I love seeing where we’ve been and where we are about to go. You can’t see all the extras on your Garmin that you can on a map. For me it’s not about getting from point A to B but about all the possibilities in between!
I don’t have kids… but I love maps!
What a cool giveaway! My kids would <3 this!
I love maps, old and new. I especially love them now that I can show my son where his daddy is at during his travels for his job. It makes my heart happy when my son wants to pull out the map and find out where daddy is, too cute.
I love how much my son enjoys maps.
I ♥ maps and so do my boys. We are always so budget constricted that we love to daydream travel trips.
What I love about maps to being able to see where I am compared to all the places I’d love to one day visit!!!
I love maps, I am a geographer!!! I love to see where I have been and where I would go!!
I often forget relational-ly where things are and a map like this would be really nice. I also like to pin where we’ve been.
This map is beautiful! Also, you are a true inspiration and I wish I could convince my husband that we could benefit from moving to a new country and enriching our lives.
This is great! I love beautiful maps. This would be so helpful teaching our 4 year old!
We LOVE maps! And that looks like a cool one!

I love maps too. So fun to explore, imagine, and make connections!
Maps appeal to any age and they are beautiful!
I grew up with a map of the States and Canadian Provinces. My mom would outline with a black sharpie all the states 3 or more members of our family had traveled to. It was quite impressive! I love that my own little family has taken several trips throughout the states, this amazing country has so much to explore!
I LOVE maps…they give me a sense of curiosity and wonder~

My five year old son would absolutely LOVE to have a map. He is always asking me where a city is, where a specific place he has heard about is and why there are different “states”. This would be fantastic tool to help him begin learning more about the states cities and such. He is a brilliant child always wanting to learn.
I love how they inspire questions and stories!
Love Maps! Everything is our fav!
We love maps. I have plans for a giant 6×8 foot map for our wall, an old French map of Paris. We love comparing maps from different times, to see what’s changed (new countries in the world, changed names, different colors). Thanks for sharing!
