Dallas Blooms at the Dallas Arboretum
Two of my favorite things in Dallas – Spring, and the Dallas Arboretum – come together this time every year for Dallas Blooms at the Dallas Arboretum.
With activities planned every day of the week, there is something for everyone. I love to walk around and admire the flowers and let the kids run loose, but if structure is more your thing, you can take advantage of the planned events, too!
From 10 am – 2 pm every Monday, you can take the kids to Mommy and Me Mondays – and if you miss Monday, you can attend Tiny Tots Tuesdays the next day. The kids will love the petting zoo, face painting, and arts and crafts!
Leave the kids at home and take a friend to the Spring Tea (I love, love LOVE teas at the Arboretum!). The surroundings are amazing and the food is divine.
Every day at 11 am, you can take a free walking tour of the gardens (bring your camera).
This is a great time of year to take a picnic (and what kids don’t love a picnic?) and enjoy the outdoors. And, be sure to get to the Arboretum now, before it’s summer and 100 degrees out (which will be here before you know it)!
