Get Ready for Back-to-School with DFW Back to School Events

It’s hard to think Back-to-School is just around the corner, but school starts in just about a month and that also means new clothes, new supplies and all those back-to-school costs. However, Dallas, Fort Worth and Arlington are providing ways to help families with the huge costs of going back to school with their annual back-to-school fairs!

17th Annual Mayor’s Back to School Fair – Dallas

The Mayor’s Back to School Fair happens Thursday, August 1, 2013, at Fair Park’s Automobile and Centennial Buildings.  A collaborative effort between the City of Dallas, Dallas area schools, public health departments, state agencies, non-profit organizations, corporations and hundreds of volunteers. More than 45,000 people are expected to attend the event; so preregistration is highly recommended, but not necessary to attend.

I had no idea either! I will have to check these out. What a great way to get all your back-to-school necessities all in one place.

I did not know these existed either. Now I need to see if there are any fairs on my side of town.
