Growing up in the 80’s/ 90’s era rocked! At least I seem to think so. Heck, when I hear Vanilla Ice’s “Ice Ice Baby” play on the radio, I join in and start singing. I can be on the road, at home, or shopping and I’ll chime in. He’s THE poster boy of the 90’s. To me, he’s an icon. My kids love Vanilla Ice too. When we hear his songs, we’re prone to break into dance making our family room our disco floor.
I found out a day late that he had performed in Gun Barrel City, TX. Sure, I had to Google that town up. But, if I had known about the concert in Texas, you bet I would’ve attended. Vanilla Ice will be coming back AGAIN. This is your chance to groove along and revisit those carefree days. For me, this was when I could stay up all night and attend my 8 am college anthropology class without a problem.
Vanilla Ice or Robert Matthew Van Winkle, will be performing this month in Frisco. If my hubby doesn’t take me, I will go solo. Yes, I love me some Vanilla Ice. As fair warning, I’m not sure I’ll be able to function at work the next day as I’ll be sleep deprived. Long gone are the days of boundless energy.
