What is better that spending time with friends and family, and enjoying free stuff? If you ask me… not much. One day I was goofing around on the internet, as I do, and I came across something on my facebook page: House Party. It was advertising coffee, and it was requestion people to sign up to host a party. The curiosity came over me at that point, and I decided to look into it a little further. I went to houseparty.com. There I saw that I was able to seach for different parties I might be interested in hosting.
I signed up to host a Beyblade party (just to see what this was all about). For you that don’t have boys between the ages of 7 and teenager, Beyblades are these tops that spin around a plastic “arena” two or more at a time and “battle.” Yeah, I know…. but the kids love them.
So, I applied to host the party, and waited to hear back. And my kids pestered me just about everyday for a few weeks. I got a notification that I was in consideration. All I had to do was take a few pictures of the Beyblades we already had (I think to show that we were really into them), write a short paragraph about how much my boys loved the product, and answer a questionnaire. Next thing I know, I was given 10 minutes (yes, there was a timer) to input at minimum 10 email addresses so invitations could go out, and the party was mine.
That was it. There was nothing else to be done. A few weeks went by, and I received a box from House Party. It was filled with new Beywarriers (the newest Beyblades), 2 arenas, and coupons for free Beyblades and $5 off coupons. Did I have to send it back? No. All mine to keep. Condition? Have people come over, try out the product, take pictures of them doing so, and upload the photos on my Houseparty page. That was it.
Fun and literally free!
I just had another party with my teacher friends. It was a Gevalia house party. We were able to try out their newest coffee products. Gevalia offers a great new cappuccino, mocha latte, and caramel macchiato. What did I get? A ton of free coffee. And all I had to do was get the word out.
I think it is worth a few minutes out of your day to sign up for a party. With the holidays coming around, it’s a great way to get friends together. You can add the products to any holiday party.
Go to houseparty.com and search parties. It will show you current parties they are accepting applications for, as well as show you future parties. Go ahead and get your party on!
