Mother Nature hasn’t made outdoor time very easy lately, but this weekend looks promising – so make plans now to get out and enjoy it (before it changes again!)
While February is only $5 for admission during Penguin Days, those on a budget can score this weekend with free admission to The Dallas Zoo.
Elephant (you know the fun insurance company with the elephant commercial) is celebrating National Car Insurance Day (Feb. 1) at the zoo this weekend from Friday, Jan. 31 – Sunday, Feb. 2.
Here are the details of the weekend that include opportunities for free admission and the chance to help raise money for a worthy cause:
Get there early for free admission
Elephant is raising awareness for Ninety-Six Elephants, an organization that works to prevent the killing of endangered elephants for their ivory tusks. The first 96 visitors each day (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) will get free admission.
…Or, bring a quote for free admission
Go online to elephant.com and get a quote from Elephant Auto Insurance. Print it out and bring it to the zoo for one free admission on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Elephant is also raising money for Ninety-Six Elephants over the weekend. You can forward your online quote confirmation to firstname.lastname@example.org and Elephant Auto Insurance will donate $5 to the organization. (You can use the quote for both free admission and to get the donation.)
These great deals are all in addition to the already discounted zoo admission that’s in effect for . And while it may seem too cold for the zoo right now, the weather is supposed to warm up this weekend, making it a great time to be outside and see some animals.
