When we researched fryers I came across an oil-less fryer and was instantly intrigued. After reading some great reviews, we decided oil-less was the way to go. The fryer uses infrared heat to cook the turkey so it’s really roasted vs. fried, but the turkey came out wonderfully! And we didn’t have any oil splatters, spills, burns, or fires to worry about. The best part…the turkey was cooked outside by my husband, leaving me and my oven free to finish the sides off.

The best part is you can use the fryer throughout the year. We cook whole chickens and even racks of ribs in the fryer and they come out wonderful. So tender, moist and flavorful. If you’re looking to do something a little different this year, check out an oil-less fryer. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Tip: We actually bought ours the day AFTER Thanksgiving to get an awesome price on the fryer. My family wasn’t coming down till Saturday so it gave us a day to read up on it and figure out how to use it before they arrived and we saved 50%!

Check out my favorite Fried Turkey recipe. This recipe cooks up 2 turkeys, if you’re just doing one, half everything.
